IBERIAN Insurance Group has announced, during the celebration on November 16 of its ninth anniversary, the expansion of its capacity in the Surety business by more than 30% in 2024, within its strategy of consolidation as a specialist underwriting agency and benchmark in these insurance products in the Spanish market.
In this regard, it should be recalled that last June, IBERIAN signed a collaboration agreement with the binder Great American International Insurance (EU) (a member of Great American Insurance Group, Cincinnati, USA) for the underwriting of surety insurance in Spain.
“We are pleased to announce that this partnership, which has been a great success with our network of brokers and end clients, will be further strengthened next year, increasing capabilities by a third,” explained Cristian Mateos, Senior Underwriter & Partner at IBERIAN.
However, it is not only Surety that will be IBERIAN’s main line of business next year, as it has also advanced the expansion of its insurance product portfolio with the incorporation of new lines that will be announced as early as 2024.
“Looking ahead to next year, we are also going to diversify our product portfolio by expanding branches with very attractive tailor-made insurance products with special coverage that we will be announcing soon,” said Dario Spata, CEO of IBERIAN.
#IXberianDay
These announcements were made at the #IXberianDay, an event celebrating IBERIAN’s ninth anniversary that brought together more than a hundred mediators, representatives of binders and personalities from the national and international insurance sector at the picturesque Casa Ozama in Seville, who accompanied IBERIAN on its big day.
“It is an immense joy to meet again on our anniversary with all our friends in Seville. We are very happy because, in addition, this edition is the one that has had the largest number of attendees in these nine years, an effort on their part that we appreciate more than ever. Next year, for our tenth anniversary, we will do something very special, in a big way and aimed especially at all these IBERIAN fellow travelers since 2014,” concluded Spata.
